Looking at the sunrise, Point Michaud Beach, Nova Scotia, Canada

Andrew Moore Oct 16, 2019

For the past few years, Nova Scotia has been my escape when I felt the need to refocus on what’s important. I’ve always felt like I need a large body of water nearby, and maybe that’s a large part of why I love Nova Scotia so much: the ocean is always a maximum of an hour’s drive away.

In October of 2019, I spent a few weeks in Cape Breton, and there was one morning in particular where I felt compelled to wake up early, drive to Point Michaud, and watch the sun rise. That morning was pure bliss, with no-one around but me, my thoughts, and the ocean.
