Caged Eagle

Zoo Ecomuseum’s aviary is home to two magestic eagles, both rescues who would be unable to survive in the wild.
Wonka, the bald eagle pictured here, was born in captivity and raised to perform. He joined the zoo in 2006. He shares the aviary with Jimmy, a female golden eagle that was rescued in 1991 from a invidual that was keeping her as a pet.
